Group Therapies

Group work offers a unique way of learning about yourself and your behaviours that are quite different from a one-to-one relationship. The power of the group energy creates a quite different dynamic and profound experience for growth and sustainable change. Group process focuses on both thoughts and feelings using an integration of models, backed up by sound theoretical knowledge and a firm ethical underpinning. A range of issues can be worked with such as stress and anger management, anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties and workplace problems. By working through these challenges, participants experience and report marked changes and improvements in their quality of life. Relationships are restored both personally and professionally.

Who is this for?

I attract people from all age groups, professional backgrounds, levels of income, cultural and religious beliefs. Individuals have in common, despite their difficulties and frustrations, a deep desire for positive and sustained change in their lives. The group programme is structured over a 12 week period. The reason for this is that I believe sustainable change takes time and the experiences we learn and reflect on require patience and care. The majority of the work done by participants is manifested between sessions. The time in each session provides a safe place to ‘test’ new ways of being and expressing oneself.

My aim is to facilitate permanent and positive change.
